limewire itunesLimewire

how do you convert limewire videos to your itunes library/ipod?
I tried dragging the downloaded limewire video intomy itunes library and it doesn't work, (because it works with limewire songs)
Also, there is no copy and paste option for limewire videos
what do i do?
This is how it works, your video is probably a DivX/Xvid file and is almost definitely .avi.

iTunes only accepts .mp4 with the right codec and size. For this we need a converter. A converter takes your video and creates a copy that is in the right format. A nice free converter is "Videora iPod Converter"

It can be found here:
www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/

Videora is also nice enough to convert the file then automatically add it to your iTunes library!

Enjoy!

You can download some free videos on the following sites:

You must make sure the video is mp4 format for iPod. Here is a step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod video

Some useful information about iPod video you can get on the Apple official site:

hi, i know what you mean. i had alot of trouble limewire itunestrying to figure out how to do the exact same thing.
well, first of all you to make sure you have the newer version of itunes (not sure wht its called but the icon for it has a disk and a blue music note infront of it) This version allows you to put movies in your playlists.
Heres the annoying part, you may need to download a video converter, if you dont have one already. I use total video converter because it lets you convert almost any video, only problem is that its not free unless you get a code for it.
This site has lots of different choices so you can pick the one that suits your need, and in your case you want one that converts to MOV or MP4 etc

http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/free-dvd-video-software.htm

after you've converted the movie file (make sure to convert it to either MOV or MP4) you can drag it onto itunes and voila!
go here
get the software that converts videos into mp4 so that they go on your ipod or itunes library
if you want to move the videos use expolre on limewire than you can view all you files and move them around just cut and paste
i download mpg music videos in less than 2 minuteslimewire itunes and then convert them witch takes like a minute
I have iTouch and it lets me drag .mp3's over to its name. You shouldn't have to convert to anything (unless you have it in some other format besides .mp3)

Make sure you have your iPod on Manual song-adding instead of Automatic.
First, you probably need to convert the video to a different type of format. To do this, go to
Follow the directions there to convert the video.

Then, drag it to iTunes.
You need to convert em to a compatible format...such as MP4, try the program below or keep looking for free mpg/avi to quicktime converters
put the limewire files into "ENQUE" then click "Save as" store them in your shared files and then go to itunes and click import files to library go to ur shared folder and click it
go to coyotesoft.com and download the free video converter for free then change your movies to MP'4s, and then your ipod will accept them
open the limewire video into Windows Media Player
and then sync it if thats what youre doing...
U have to download .MP4
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! that is illegal!
